Exemplifying Excellence Through Sustainable Service

MAO put on a free community event at Midland Center for the Arts where we  honored and celebrated the Harlem Renaissance. We marked the 100th anniversary by putting on a 1920s Harlem speakeasy with poetry and readings from authors of the day and live jazz music.

MAO participated in an incredible family STEM night at the Midland Center for the Arts! The museum has so many exhibits and fun events for kids of all ages!

Members of the Mu Alpha Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha provided hot meals on a cold day to Midland residents. Through the Friendship Ministry at Midland First United Methodist Church, we served many plates and smiles to those in need who openly expressed their appreciation.

Our Chapter, in partnership with KidDomain and the Jack and Jill of America, Great Lakes Bay Region Chapter provided SAT and ACT prep and training to students from the Great Lakes Bay community.
